This workshop focuses on pervasive networked sensing and decision making, both wired and wireless, geared towards emergency management. PerNEM 2010 addresses leading edge research in these areas through the use of sensing, communication, decision support, simulation tools and modelling methods with focus on system design, optimisation and experimental evaluation. 4th International Workshop On Critical Information Infrastructures Security. Bonn, Germany. Details
11/02/2009 | CRITIS'09 Call for Papers released
On February 11, 2009, the first Call for Papers for the Fourth International Workshop on Critical Information Infrastructures Security (CRITIS'09) has been released. The workshop will take place in Bonn, Germany, from September 29th to October 2nd, 2009. The workshop is being organised with active participation and support by the DIESIS project. DIESIS members Eric Luiijf (TNO), Sandro Bologna (ENEA) and Erol Gelenbe (Imperial College) are members of the programme committee, and Erich Rome (IAIS) is one of the programme committee co-chairs, together with Robin Bloomfield of the City University London. 01/07/2008 | First Diesis Workshop
On July 1, 2008, the first public DIESIS workshop has been conducted in Brussels, Belgium. In the morning, presentations focussed on the topics of Research Infrastructures and Modelling and Simulation for Critical Infrastructure Protection. In the afternoon, 30 participants from Europe and Japan discussed about services, issues and requirements of a planned European Infrastructures Simulation and Analysis Centre (EISAC). The contributions will be considered in the upcoming DIESIS requirements document.
